Bring your tastebuds to life at the 10th anniversary Maitland Taste Festival. This year it will be held on March 9 and 10 at the Levee in Maitland and with more than 10,000 people attending the festival in 2018, this year is sure to be a big one.

Spend your afternoon grazing and walking among families and friends. Enjoying the golden sunshine, colourful sights, delightful aromas and unique sounds of taste festival set amongst the spectacularly beautiful maitland levee.

Special guest chef Cory Campbell will be cooking on site this year. He has worked with Matt Moran and at Noma in Copenhagen, previously voted as the world’s best restaurant.

Running from 10am until 4pm both days, expect delicious stalls and workshops, cooking and gardening demonstrations and talks, and the chance to sample some of the best food, wine and coffee that the Hunter has to offer.

Head to the sparkling and seafood lane for something truly scrumptious, try mouth-watering cheese, beer tastings, delectable desserts and freshly roasted coffee.

Throughout the day there’ll be love music performed by some of our best local musicians. Grab a bite to eat, a glass of wine and pull up a chair while you relax to some great tunes.

At the taste festival the little ones aren’t left out either, with free craft activities, games space and loads more.

Make sure you add this free event to your diary and discover all the fabulous produce and ingredients our region has to offer.
